Tahche Outsourcing celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a gala attended by the company’s employees and esteemed guests on the  8th of September, held at Tahche’s new home at the 1Nito Tower in the heart of Cebu City’s business district. The event also marked the formal opening of its new headquarters in Cebu City.  

 

 

Amy Siy, Tahche’s Country Manager – Philippines, kicked off the festivities with a heartfelt message of gratitude to the clients, partners, and especially team members who have been vital to the company’s continuous growth throughout the decade. 

 

Bryan Luoma, Tahche’s CEO and founder, delivered a rousing message of the company’s journey from its humble beginnings in a small apartment building in rural Philippines, to its current home at the center of one of the country’s major metropolises.  He also shared his plans for the future, and remained steadfast to the vision of Tahche becoming the number one destination for  global companies  looking for world-class Filipino talents.

 

It was also an opportunity for Tahche to recognize its team members’ loyalty and hard work over the past decade and to thank our clients for trusting us with their business. This was highlighted by the recognition of several team members who have been with the organization for years (including a beloved couple who met, started a family, and continues to grow professionally in Tahche). 

 

Any Filipino company party will not be complete without team members showing off their world-class talents – not just in their respective jobs,   but also in singing and dancing. Three of Tahche’s employees left the crowd (and those watching online) awestruck with their song and dance renditions.

 

 

The night was capped with a  dance performance by the Aurum Dance Company featuring Filipino folk dance.

06 September 2022 – MANILA, Philippines – Tahche Outsourcing opened a new office in Manila, Philippines, last September 1, 2022, for their 10th year. 

 

Tahche is proud to announce the opening of its new Manila office. The company was founded on the dream of representing and matching competent Filipino talents with global partners needing a reliable offshore workforce. 

 

 

Since then, they have been helping their clients find top candidates across various industries by leveraging their extensive network and expertise. The outsourcing company now wants to bring that same commitment and dedication through the help of its new workplace in Manila.

 

Tahche’s team members are primarily office-based, but they also accommodate a WFH set-up. They have always been big believers in the power of collaboration and teamwork, and it’s always been a dream of the company to have an office space in Manila where their employees could all come together regularly and collaborate in person.

 

Opening an office in the centre of Manila is more than just a perk for their employees. It helps the outsourcing company to create the kind of community that has the heart and soul of this unique city; which has also been through so much upheaval in recent years. Tahche says that it allows them to give back to the Filipino community—and they couldn’t be happier about it. 

 

 

Tahche hosted a small celebration for their employees in the new office to celebrate this milestone. It began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from the owners, who visualized this day right from when the company started in 2012 in its first office in Cebu.

 

The employees also actively took part in the event. A speech, then, from the owners was given regarding the company’s growth, all about business process outsourcing, plans, employee appreciation, and general announcements.

NPS ranks customer satisfaction based on a single-question survey to customers, “How likely is it that you would recommend Tahche to a friend or colleague?” Then, the NPS score is calculated as a single number in the range of -100 to +100, with higher scores being better than low scores.

 

According to Retently 2022 NPS Benchmark for B2B, the average Net Promoter Score for B2B industries ranges from 25 to 68, with an NPS of 50 to 53 being considered “good” and above 70 “excellent” or “world-class”. Tahche’s May 2022 NPS 73 score soared well above industry benchmarks, propelling it into the “excellent” or “world-class” range. 

 

In addition to the overall NPS, the company scored highly on individual questions about customer satisfaction, including two of Tahche’s most favored qualities according to its clients—great communication and high-value employees.

With the sun shining bright and a day packed with lots of getting-to-know and team-building activities, the fun-filled event allowed the team to meet and bond with others, even those outside their circles.

 

One of the highlights of the team summer outing was The Amazing Race which was incredible as it challenged the teams to work together to overcome roadblocks and obstacles as they raced around the game. 

 

The night of the same day, with the happy-go-lucky crowd of rockstars ready to have fun, Tahche hosted a “Back To The Wild”-themed dinner and after-party.

 

 

Indeed, it was an enjoyable experience for everyone who came and those who joined the celebration virtually. An excellent opportunity for the team to learn and share valuable insights and reinforce our core values.

It’s a full-day event, but here are some highlights!

Cebu, Philippines—After two years of COVID-19 restrictions, Tahche’s CEO Bryan Luoma is finally back in the Philippines, and his first stop—our Tahche Cebu Office.

Reconnecting with his growing offshore team in the country, Bryan met with the management group, support teams, and employees from different departments.

“I am so happy to be here again. It’s great to see everyone safe, happy, healthy and growing. I am proud to see us getting bigger, doing better, and thank all of you who have stayed focused on supporting and delivering value to our clients and partners,” he said during one of his rounds.

Bryan shared some moments and quick chats with Tahche employees and new hires—meeting and getting to know everyone.

 

 

Businesses spend thousands of dollars every year on ways to make their employees happier and more satisfied with their jobs. For a small expenditure on candy, decorations, and prizes for best costumes, Halloween becomes a human resources bonanza. It gives employees an opportunity to defuse tension, take a well-earned break, and have some fun at work with co-workers and customers.

But since the pandemic, we at Tahche decided to make it simpler and worth it. Last Oct 29, though participation was done virtually, many of the employees joined and brought out their creativity in their allotted workspace. We believe that having such a diverse group of people at the company, Halloween is a holiday that everyone can celebrate together here at Tahche, may you be working from home or at the office. Thus making it an important one for employee engagement and morale.

There were awards for best & most creative costumes. For office decorations, the best-decorated work area was awarded as well. Employees vote to determine winners.

Noted that everyone is asked to follow a few simple rules:

1. Decorations should not violate fire or safety codes.
2. Employees are responsible for clean-up after the event.
3. Costumes should be office appropriate and not offensive to co-workers and peers.
4. And try to keep it available until the end of the month.

When I was younger, I never really cared much about wearing my prescribed glasses. I feel that they look so big and heavy on my face and that they just don’t fit me. Eventually, I did learn to appreciate them and wear them to help me but like most apps we use today, I also tend to forget that my eyesight needs to be checked every once in a while.

Handling the company website and social media as well as other required meetings via zoom, I’m in front of the computer almost 80% of the time (or my phone if I’m away from the computer). And good glasses have become a much-needed facet of my work. I kept reminding myself to have my eye check-up on my own time, but I keep forgetting to do it.

Now, I’m glad that I’m part of a company that was able to send us a reminder that free eye checkups are part of our benefits as employees.

The HR team scheduled this check-up last Thursday and Friday along with a team of skilled ophthalmologists. They stayed at the Ayala Corporate Center from 3 pm to 9 pm and assisted the Tahche employees (including those working from home who visited the office just for this) to assess their current eyesight condition.

They even brought a variety of eye frames that fits every person’s face and style that one can choose from if they prefer to have a different set of eyeglasses to use.

This might be considered as a simple employee benefit to some, but I’m glad that it’s part of work that I totally enjoy doing every day. Thank you Tahche!

Business Process Outsourcing excellence is behind every successful business and while it takes time to hone excellence, Tahche has been continually working hard to raise its standards and give peace of mind and confidence to its clients.

Last Sept 8, Tahche celebrated 9 glorious years in the Business Outsourcing field and have been excited to share a simple giving back even-amidst the pandemic- to its employees by hosting free food and a zoom raffle live event.

 

“We are like a family here in Tahche; the reason why we can do the work that we do is that we love what we do,” said Tahche General Manager Amylene Sy.

 

The anniversary celebration commenced with a mass in the morning shift while the live stream over zoom happened in the evening shift. Tahche employees received incentives including free meals, customized masks and tumblers and raffle prizes.

 

Tahche office may be based only in Cebu but its employees are from Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao.

 

“Tahche’s 9th Anniversary celebration was a blast! The management did a great job in making the virtual event interactive. It was my first time attending the celebration and it didn’t fail my expectations. I had a great time! The activities were carefully laid out and it revolved around the employees. Tahche showed how they value the workforce,” said Tahche Customer Support Manager Norie.

 

“I’m thankful for Tahche, because since day 1 they have always displayed how much they value me as an employee. I’m confident that I will be counting my years with them because Tahche is here to stay! Kudos to the management for a job well done! Looking forward to more celebrations with my Tahche family,” she added.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), COVID 19 vaccines give our bodies immunity against the COVID 19 virus. It protects us from severe illness. Precisely why, Tahche Employees got vaccinated via “Project Balik Buhay (PBB)” vaccination program. Vaccination also heightens the security of our clients’ businesses.

 

Tahche employees shared that they want to help other people be safe and continue doing work which is why they got vaccinated.

 

 

Tahche President and CEO Bryan Luoma tweeted, “So proud of our team! I’m really excited to be able to help our employees get access to the vaccine.”

 

Aside from vaccination, Tahche is also observing health protocols for workplaces like submitting a Work Accident and Illness COVID 19 Report to the Department of Labor and Employment.
